I check Una Di Noi a lot. No really I consider myself an addict. That’s not the topic I really want to talk about, So when I saw the article on Winx’s declining ratings I kinda reassured myself it will get better and with all postponing It has gotten worse. A lot of shows escape cancellation usually like moving the show to a another network a la UPN and the WB or A campaign. The most famous example is Family Guy. In its early days Family Guy suffered a plenty of what Winx is suffering now. But thanks a lot due to reruns and more than spectacular DVD sales, Family Guy is now a success.
But can Winx escape the wraith of cancellation? Maybe-uh No! Okay Winx is a worldwide phenomenon and maybe Nick can decide It is not right for the US but they see how girls on the Nick forums play fairy school and write stories. What Una Di Noi posted yesterday is to do a letter campaign. My idea is on January 2014 we can do a Winx Day because of Winx’s tenth anniversary and we can do a letter campaign like SOPA thing and we can make a sign and post on blogs and Winx Wikia

Barbie vs MH=Cannibalism?

Meet the new girls in town, Barbie!

Guess who is Barbie’s very hungry competition- Monster High, One of Barbie’s neighbors!

Monster High was made to appeal to the “tween” market that Barbie originally intended for. Monster High took down Bratz and now It’s taking down Barbie with it. It’s not really over for Barbie but for Monster High It’s just beginning.
Barbie is still number one but Monster High suddenly rose to number two in doll sales. Barbie is doing great though sales plummeted.
Barbie is making girls that grew up with her fall in love with her again with her clever and funny new webisodes- Barbie Life In The Dream House! If you haven’t seen it I recommend you do.
Monster High is quite unique I have to say with individual styles and fashions and face molds but right now what I hate is about it is the demand is way too high, It’s impossible to get at the retailers and online they charge way to much and new dolls are often sold out so I rest my case.
Right now I’m waiting for the new Midge doll. Barbie should also watch out for Bratz I heard they got new legs!
